Terms and Conditions of Service

Introduction

Welcome to SWI Tour & Travel Services. The terms and conditions below manage the relationship between tour participants and SWI Tour as the service provider. By using our services, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all the points listed below.

1. Booking & Payment Procedures

To ensure you, a comfortable and worry-free trip, here are our booking rules:

  • Booking Channels: Reservations are only considered valid if made via WhatsApp at +6281282334883 or our official email at [info@switour.com].
  • Deposit (DP): Participants are required to pay a deposit of at least 20% of the total tour cost to secure their spot and accommodations booking. The deposit are paid to our company bank account of SWI Tour & Travel.
  • Non-Refundable Policy: All deposits paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance of the tour package must be paid in full no later than when the participant meets our guide at the airport or pickup location.
  • Non-Binding Booking: Reservations without a deposit are non-binding, and SWI Tour & Travel reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time without notice if necessary.
  • Travel Documents: Participants are fully responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents throughout the tour.

2. Limitation of Liability (Disclaimer)

For legal clarity, SWI Tour & Travel shall not be held liable and cannot be sued for:

  1. Personal accidents, loss of personal belongings or luggage, and flight delays or cancellations by the airline.
  2. Changes to the itinerary due to external factors beyond our control (Force Majeure) such as natural disasters, civil unrest, extreme weather, or government policies.
  3. The health condition of participants, including if a participant falls ill or passes away during the trip.

3. Rights and Authorities of SWI Tour

We reserve the right to take the following actions to ensure the smooth operation of the tour subject to itinerary:

  • Document Issuance: Issuing airline tickets (if included in the package), booking accommodations, and arranging transportation immediately upon receipt of the deposit.
  • Group Safety: We reserve the right to remove a participant from the group if they are found to be causing disturbances, engaging in anarchic behavior, or disrupting the tour itinerary.
  • Accommodation Adjustments: We may relocate or substitute the hotel/accommodation to an equivalent class if the booked hotel is fully booked, with prior confirmation to the participant.
  • Schedule Flexibility: We reserve the right to change the order of the itinerary based on on-site conditions without altering the main agreed-upon itinerary.
  • Additional Costs: We will charge participants for any price differences or additional expenses incurred outside the previously agreed-upon package or additional trip, meals and upgrading hotel.

4. Rules During the Trip (Code of Conduct)

Participants must comply with the following rules to help preserve the environment and culture of North Sumatra and Indonesia as general:

  • Compliance with the Law: It is prohibited to carry prohibited items (drugs, illegal sharp or firearms) or engage in illegal activities while using our facilities.
  • Staff Instructions: You must follow the instructions of the tour guide or driver for the safety of everyone.
  • Etiquette & Cleanliness: Littering is prohibited, and you must maintain cleanliness at every tourist site.
  • Preservation of Cultural Heritage: Damaging cultural sites, removing objects from museums, or disturbing the ecosystem in tourist areas is prohibited.
  • Courtesy: Maintain standards of courtesy and respect local customs at every location visited.
